| About Us: |
The primary aim of the New Scientist’s Focus Group is to offer a forum for new scientists which provides information and opportunities highly relevant to their needs. The focus group comprises of members of both academia and industry working together to provide a comprehensive review of pertinent topics. This environment actively encourages interaction between new scientists and eminent speakers. This has been achieved through a series of seminars and workshops organised over the past 10 years. The New Scientist’s Focus Group is also actively involved in organising speaker sessions at the British Pharmaceutical Conference each year. Through its sessions at the BPC, the group provides a unique opportunity to post doctoral researchers, lecturers and new scientists in the pharmaceutical industry to communicate their research to the wider pharmaceutical world. |
